I know! I'll write a letter from Worth to me explaining everything, no holds barred.
His words will breathe air into the story and it will expand, rise, and soar. No stopping!

A Novel, a Novelist, and a Search for Publication
GRACE AT WAR, an 70,000-word literary/mainstream novel, takes place during the explosive summer of 1970, when sixteen-year-old Grace Hart, traumatized by her boyfriend’s suicide, emulates the locked-down emotions of her combat-veteran brother, Worth. Their quest to make peace with their shattering memories and losses takes them from upstate New York to Long Island and eventually into the north woods where Grace must face their differences in order to save Worth and herself.
Good idea! Let him go nuts. I suggest hand writing the letter to keep it authentic. Glad you are moving forward with the suggestions from Agent. Grace is awesome and must see the light of publication!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Ben! It's working well!
ReplyDeleteUse a pencil for the letter. Worth would like the feeling of graphite on paper and also the ability to erase erase erase.
ReplyDeleteYes, he would, Faith, he'd also like being able to stab the paper forcefully. Thanks for posting a comment!
